She is an art therapist by profession with two years of experience in the field of Art therapy. She works on her subjects with compassionate empathy and genuineness considering their comfort zone deep in her mind. She describes her style as sheer energetic, positive and friendly in sessions with the subjects. With all her creativity and power of understanding she reaches her respondents with helpful approach which gradually enables them to take care of themselves. From toddlers to adults, she explores human emotions by using the process of self-expression into the art forms; the resulting artwork helps clients understand their emotional states and conflicts.

After graduating from NCA -sculpture major- she worked with a wide set of age groups in a diverse mix of careers. Life presents everyone with more than a fair share of sour grapes at least, it feels so in all those ‘momments’.Through the mriad of colorful experiences acedemic and professional she has been administering healing . The ritual of the creative process -Art- is a self exploratoray journey . The monotonous grind makes one lose touch with the self. She has sought to povide a space and experience where one explores different aspects of the human personality in an attempt to connect the dots and make a WHOLE. She uses colors , materials ,mediums , music , laughter and friends to sensitize the ‘self’. In three words -Stop-Break-Create!

NAYHA JAHANGIR KHAN
ART THERAPIST
She has graduated in Fine Arts from Toronto, Canada and has gotten various certificates and workshops regarding art therapy and psychotherapy over the years. She completed a course on Humanistic counselling from UK that provided a deep insight into oneself and that led to emotional evolution and an inner state of unconditional presence with which the student interacts both with significant others and with clients. She also became a part of a project that provided creative and artistic expression of self for children with disabilities. Other than being an art therapy practitioner at Beaconhouse Newlands and Edopia in Islamabad and an art director, she is also an E-commerce copy writer as well as an art or freelance writer.
